George Mason University completed a study on freedom in the 50 states. These include social and personal freedoms such as citizens’ rights to educate their own children, own and carry firearms, to be free from unreasonable search and seizure.
The map shows how each state measured up, with red being the most free and blue being the least. Illinois is one of the states with the least personal freedoms while Missouri is one of the freest.
