At the end of most everything I ever saw my my dad write (letters, articles, sermons, etc.) were the words, "Soli Deo Gloria". It's Latin for "To God Alone be the Glory". And as he retires this weekend after 47 years in the pastoral ministry and 30 years of service at Faith Lutheran Church in Jefferson City, I'm sure he will once again be saying - Soli Deo Gloria - To God Alone be the Glory.
